I heard from someone that there is a GPS handheld that allows me to create my own maps an add them to my gps. Is this true? If it is true, what company produces it and how can i add them?

On April 12, 2010, Lotek Wireless engineers Jelena and Adrian tested the data downloading range of the MiniTrack GPS collar on a road near Newmarket, Ontario. Range specifications for this collar are 500m, line of sight. Actualy ranges will depend upon species, terrain and canopy; their tests on this day exceeded the 500m distance significantly. The video gives a good visual sense of the type of range at which data from these collars can be downloaded.

I have a garmin nuvi 260 and a 60csx, I have been looking on the garmin website for help with traveling to the baja penisula, but they don’t really provide much detail on the website as to what cities their maps cover. Anyone have any experience with them?
I was thinking about getting a handheld magellan or garmin gps. I do a lot of backpacking and I wanted to get one but at the same time can I use it in the car. Will it show streets and can I put an address to get to and from and it gives directions just like a car gps. obviously i dont know much about these but could anyone help me out by answering this question. Thanks
This test was taken in the United Kingdom and all other liver function tests proved normal. The raised number is associated with alcohol although other factors can apparently raise the count in this particular test. I am a 54 year old female. I did drink and for a short time quite heavily. My doctor like so many GPs is busy so if you have the time to give me a bit more information I would appreciated it. Thank you.
We continued to test my friend’s E-revo with some new tweak to the setup, and after having some good results we had to get a radar to show it was legit, in fact the radar normaly is for unofficial record, but someone said we were “cheating” by moving the radar as the truck is passing by…. we then get the GPS and test it with the latest setup, we got it up to 81.9 mph and lost control, the GPS update the speed slower than the radar, make me believe it was faster than 81.9 since radar showed 84, will have to keep the truck going at that speed for a longer period, but i was nervous and lost control…. lol We are working on a new setup right now, we will see what it can do !
That make it currently the fastest revo, and the fastest Monster truck. (unofficialy…) for now… lol

My friend has asked me to help set up their Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx GPS system. It comes with MapSource TOPO Great Britain (v 6.9.1) and more codes than the Enigma device – and however many codes they’ve written down, the website keeps asking for more codes that we don’t have.
MapSource won’t unlock the detail of the maps without a customer registration code (the username, password, unlock certificate code, and serial number won’t do) and having logged on to the website with the user name and password, there’s nothing to help and no way of getting any code sent.
So is there a way of getting some decent maps for free, or of making it unlock the maps by some other means?
Edit: The maps need to be downloaded into the GPS device before it can be used properly, that’s what I’m trying to do.
